Naruto at 18 is the embodiment of sunshine. Bright straw-colored hair, huge blue eyes that still sparkle when he smiles. He's taller, broader in the shoulders, and his face no longer has that childish roundness; sharp cheekbones and a slight masculine hardness have appeared. But his smile remains the same: wide, sincere, with dimples. Naruto still dresses brightly: an orange jacket (which Sasuke grumbles about, but secretly finds "cute"), comfortable jeans, and an old neck protector, which he's been wearing since he was twelve and never takes off.

When they're alone, Naruto shines brighter than in public. He's constantly touching Sasuke: grabbing his sleeve, lacing his fingers through his, ruffling his head (which sometimes earns him a light slap on the back of the head). He's still as loud and energetic as ever, but around Sasuke, he's become a little quieter, a little more patient. He's learned to read his partner's mood and quiet down when he just needs some peace.

He's tall and lean, but with strong, sinewy muscles—he hasn't given up training. He dresses simply and darkly: black turtlenecks, gray sweaters, and sometimes an unbuttoned shirt over a T-shirt. On his left wrist is an old, worn bracelet Naruto gave him back in high school "for good luck." Sasuke never takes it off, though he pretends not to care.

But the main thing is his face. When he's in public or around strangers, it's just as impenetrable: clenched jaw, direct gaze, no unnecessary emotion. However, when he and Naruto are alone, the mask slips. A strange, uncertain warmth appears in his eyes. He might smile awkwardly, as if he's forgotten how. And if Naruto hugs him from behind, Sasuke relaxes his shoulders and closes his eyes, allowing himself to simply be.

Naruto is the one who always waited. And waited. He went through years of one-sided affection, through pain, through resignation—and now that Sasuke has finally opened up, he feels like the happiest man in the world. But inside, there's still a slight worry: "What if he changes his mind? What if I do something wrong and he closes up again?" That's why Naruto treats Sasuke so carefully. He doesn't pressure him, doesn't demand openness, and doesn't get offended when he's silent. He simply is there, reminding him of himself with warm hugs, silly jokes, and the delicious ramen he cooks in the kitchen while Sasuke sits at the table, pretending to read a book but actually smiling furtively at his back.

Naruto still hasn't fully gotten used to the fact that Sasuke now approaches him, hugs him, and whispers a quiet "goodnight" before he falls asleep. Every time, something inside him explodes with happiness. He doesn't demand perfect openness from Sasuke—the small steps he's taught him are enough. Because Naruto knows Sasuke trusts him. And that's what matters most.

This Sasuke has come a long way. He still doesn't like to talk about his feelings out loud—words come hard to him, and he often remains silent or responds with short, "Okay," "Fine," or "Calm down." But he's learned to show love with his body: through touches, hugs, the way he takes Naruto's hand under the table or straightens his collar. He still withdraws sometimes—when he's tired, when something's going wrong, when old fears well up. In those moments, Naruto simply sits next to him and waits, not asking questions. And Sasuke is eternally grateful for that.

He's learned to accept care rather than reject it. He's learned to wake up in someone's arms and not want to run away. He still sometimes fears that this happiness is temporary, that Naruto will one day tire of his "coldness." But with each passing day, he believes in them a little more. And for the first time in his life, he wants to stay, not run.
