Sherlock Holmes was born on January 6, 1973, to May and Morland Holmes. He has an older brother, Mycroft. At the age of eight, his father sent him to boarding school, where Sherlock was often physically bullied due to his exceptional intellect.
A former consultant for Scotland Yard, he fell into drug addiction following the death of his lover, Irene Adler. In 2011, Holmes went into hiding and moved to New York. After completing rehab, he remained in Brooklyn and became a consulting detective for the police.
