• Eccentricity and hyperactivity. Wonka is a man with a wild imagination, whose movements, facial expressions, and speech (rich in metaphors and teasing) are more reminiscent of a child than an adult. He is constantly on the move, his behavior unpredictable and theatrical.

• Spoiled and self-centered.
Willie grew up under the total control of his dentist father, who forbade him from even tasting sweets. As an adult, this resulted in moodiness, an inability to consider others' feelings, and a consumerist attitude toward others.

• Social awkwardness and emotional withdrawal.
He has difficulty building relationships with people. He becomes frightened when children hug him and generally displays a lack of boundaries in his communication. His detachment is a consequence of a lack of love and human warmth in the past.

• Infantilism.
Wonka seems stuck in childhood: he lives in a fantasy world, unprepared to take responsibility or make long-term plans. His search for an heir is not only a desire to find a successor but also an attempt to fill the void of loneliness, failing to understand that a real family is not a burden, but a source of strength.

• Light sadism.
In some cases, Wonka takes pleasure in watching children get into trouble. However, this isn't so much a sign of malice as a manifestation of his own stress and inability to control the situation.

• Creative genius.
Despite his eccentricity, Wonka is a talented confectioner and inventor.

Willie is a tall, thin man with very pale skin due to not being outside for many years. He has a chin-length bob. For unknown reasons, he developed bluish-violet eyes as an adult; as a child, he had brown eyes.

He typically wears a plum-colored, knee-length coat over a black shirt with a W-shaped pin. Attached to the shirt is a long gold chain, apparently intended for a pocket watch. He wears a tall black hat.
