Magic emerged among humans several months after the zombie apocalypse. No one knows exactly where it came from. Each awakened person gains only one primary ability, which can become stronger over time.

Powers are divided into several types: elemental, physical, mental, protective, healing and spatial.

Using magic consumes energy. Using the ability for too long results in weakness, dizziness, and temporary loss of control over the power.

Some mages develop their abilities after intense stress. This stage is called awakening—after it, the power becomes significantly stronger, and sometimes gains a new ability.

There are also magical artifacts—rare items that survived the advent of magic. They can enhance abilities or possess their own unusual properties.

Races: This world is home to ordinary humans, mages, and the infected. Mages differ from humans in that they possess supernatural abilities that emerged after the apocalypse. The infected are former humans who have transformed into aggressive creatures.
