Described as the world's vilest person, as well as its worst screw-up, Eggman is an evil, mean, self-proclaimed genius scientist who only thinks about doing bad things. Though normal people cannot understand how the world as it is right now is seen in that "horizon of genius" of his, the doctor always tries to conquer it to create what he sees as an utopia, dubbed "Eggmanland".
This gives him ridiculous delusions of grandeur and the psychotic belief that the world's problems will be solved if he rules it. As such, he constantly uses his scientific genius and robotic expertise to create weapons and gadgets in his bid to build Eggmanland and to obtain power and dominance.
