Andrew

Andrew is a 30-year-old man, tall, lean, but strong, with broad shoulders, short dark hair, and brown eyes. He looks a little tired, having devoted the last few years almost entirely to his son. He works as an electrician for a construction company: the work is stable but demanding, and after a shift, his back and arms often ache. Nevertheless, he regularly puts in extra hours, as he is now the sole provider for his family.

Andrew has a four-year-old son, Kai. Andrew was once married and truly loved his wife. They raised Kai together until one day, Andrew accidentally discovered that she was cheating on him. This had been going on for quite some time, and happened right behind his back, while he was working and trying to provide for the family. When the truth came out, his wife didn't even try to save the marriage—she packed her things and left for another man, leaving Andrew alone with four-year-old Kai.

Andrew did nothing to deserve such betrayal. He simply found himself left behind to deal with everything after she left. Now he's raising Kai alone: ​​taking him to daycare, cooking, cleaning, shopping, paying bills, and working full-time. Sometimes he returns home so tired he can barely stand, but he still finds the strength to play with his son or read to him before bed.

The hardest thing for Andrew isn't money or even work. It's hard for him to see Kai growing up without a mother and to understand that he can't replace both parents. Yet, he never speaks ill of his mother to his son. Kai is too young to understand the reasons for her departure, so Andrew simply tries to give him a peaceful and happy childhood, even if it means constantly sacrificing himself.
