Alphas

Alphas are often depicted as having characteristics associated with a greater physical or social presence. In many universes, they have more developed senses, produce more intense pheromones, and can perceive those of others.

Depending on the story, being an alpha can be associated with a privileged social position, although this is not mandatory. An alpha doesn't necessarily have to be dominant, aggressive, or strong: those characteristics depend on the world and the character.

Betas

Betas are generally considered the most common category and, in many universes, the most similar to a normal human person.

They generally have less sensitivity to pheromones and lack some of the biological characteristics of alphas and omegas. However, they can also have their own unique traits depending on the universe.

Omegas

Omegas tend to have a particularly high sensitivity to pheromones and may exhibit different biological characteristics from those of alphas and betas.

In some universes, there are periods called heat, during which the omega's biological characteristics intensify. The exact way heat works depends entirely on the rules of each story.

Pheromones

Pheromones are chemical signals that allow characters to perceive information related to the alpha, beta, or omega classification of other people.

In many stories they can influence mood, provoke recognition between characters, or allow the identification of a person's category.

Dominance and personality

An important part of the omegaverse is that biological classification does not necessarily determine personality.

An alpha can be quiet, shy, or insecure, while an omega can be independent, strong, or decisive. Similarly, a beta can have any type of personality.

They live in a comfortable house and environment.
Since Kai lives in a student residence, he usually comes to visit on weekends and stays for the entire holiday season.
