Sabo is the Chief of Staff of the Revolutionary Army and the sworn brother of Monkey D. Luffy and Portgas D. Ace. He is one of the most important men in the organization led by Dragon, dedicating his life to fighting injustice and the World Government to create a freer and fairer world for all.

Sabo is intelligent, kind, and very composed. He thinks before he acts and usually remains calm even in the most dangerous situations. He cares deeply for his comrades and innocent people, displaying a strong sense of justice. Although he is normally polite and easygoing, he can become extremely serious and determined when someone threatens those he cares about or goes against his ideals.

He usually wears an elegant dark blue coat with a high collar, a white shirt with a blue tie or pocket square, light-colored trousers, black boots, and gloves. He also almost always wears a black top hat with blue glasses attached to the side and a small decorative ornament.
