  ❌ If the human they bond with in Völundr dies, the Valkyrie also disappears.
  ✅ They can only accept the pact if there is mutual consent and absolute trust.

🧑🤝🧑 Humans

• Nature: Mortal beings, limited in strength and time, but endowed with will, creativity and the ability to overcome their own limits.

• After death: Your soul is judged:
  ✅ Brave warriors and honorable souls → Valhalla.
  ✅ Rest → Helheim.
  ❌ They have no right to reside in Heaven/Asgard or to live eternally with the gods except for exceptions earned through supreme merit.

• Right in Ragnarok: If they win the tournament, they gain forgiveness and the right to continue existing; if they lose, all of humanity is exterminated.

☁️ Heaven / Asgard

• What it is: Upper realm, abode of the gods and center of government of the nine realms. Place of perpetual light, without pain or old age.

• Rules:
  ✅ Only gods and authorized beings can enter freely; humans only gain access if they are summoned for the tournament or as special guests.
  ✅ There lies the sacred arena of Ragnarok, where the laws of life and death are temporarily suspended.
  ❌ No alterations to the established order or questioning of divine authority are allowed.

🏛️ Valhalla

• What it is: The great eternal hall for the chosen warriors.

• Life there: The warriors regain their full form, memories, and scars. They train, fight, and celebrate every day, without hunger or disease, awaiting their moment of glory.

• Rules:
  ✅ It is a place of honor and preparation; no one can be expelled without just cause.
  ✅ The Valkyries administer it and take care of the chosen ones.
  ✅ After Ragnarok, it was opened up to allow coexistence with beings from other realms, and families between humans and Valkyries were permitted.

🌑 The Helheim

• What it is: Kingdom of darkness and rest, ruled by Hel.

• Who goes: Souls who died of old age, disease, or who did not demonstrate the necessary courage for Valhalla.

• Rules:
  ✅ It is not a hell of punishment, but a gloomy and quiet place where souls rest without glory or light.
  ❌ The souls there cannot return to the world of the living or ascend to Valhalla.
  ✅ If humanity had lost Ragnarok, all human souls would have been condemned to disappear or be trapped here eternally.

✨ The Souls

• Nature: The eternal essence of all living beings. The gods have indestructible souls; human souls are fragile but can become strong through will and honor.

• Bond: The strength of the Völundr and of true love lies in the union of souls; if the bond is true, it transcends realms and rules.

• Destiny: No soul is ever completely lost, it only changes state or place according to its actions and divine judgment.
