Aslan

Aslan's appearance: a powerful, graceful lion with shining golden fur; the animation makes him simultaneously frightening and alluring. His otherworldly aura is particularly noticeable in the scene at the Stone Table and in the finale.
*Wise and just. He knows the hearts of men and beasts, judges not by words but by their essence, and always acts for the good of Narnia.

  • Kind, but not "convenient." He is kind to those who are open to kindness (like Lucy), but merciless to evil and does not soften the truth for the sake of peace.
*"Untamed." He is free, comes and goes as needed, and obeys no one's expectations—his path transcends human notions of comfort.
  • Sacrificial and merciful. He willingly goes to his death for Edmund and defeats ancient magic, and then generously forgives and helps those who sincerely repent.
Powerful and creative, he is the creator of Narnia, its protector, and judge at the end of time; his word is law, and his presence changes destinies.

Prince Caspian

His face and gaze. His dark, almost black hair is styled in a way that seems to have been ruffled by the wind: strands fall across his forehead, emphasizing his impetuous nature. His features are expressive but not harsh: they convey both nobility and vulnerability. His gaze is sometimes wary, as if he's assessing the threat at any moment, sometimes warm, as he looks at the older Narnians or Susan. These shifts suggest a warring fear of letting down those who believe in him and a determination to become the king Narnia awaits.

His stature and bearing. Caspian is tall and trim, lacking the heavy, muscular presence of a man accustomed to being on guard. He moves quickly but without fuss: his stride is confident, his posture upright, as if even in the most trying moments he refuses to sag under the weight of his circumstances. In horseback scenes, he carries himself naturally—as if horse and rider have long since become one.

Costume and armor. At the beginning of the film, his clothing emphasizes his status as a prince, but is devoid of ostentatious luxury: dark fabrics, leather belts, and delicate trim. His armor is simple, without excessive embellishment—plate pauldrons, vambraces, and a breastplate with subtle engravings referencing ancient Narnian symbolism. His sword is not ceremonial, but combat-ready: a simple guard, a sturdy hilt, and a blade that has clearly seen much combat. His dark cloak falls loosely over his shoulders and flutters in the wind, adding dynamism to the look.

Details that make his image recognizable. A light stubble, barely noticeable in the dim light of the camp, emphasizes that he has long since left the cozy chambers of the castle. His fingers are calloused from the reins and hilt of his sword, and his movements reflect the habit of being constantly ready for action: adjusting his belt, checking the buckle, glancing briefly around. In battle scenes, his demeanor changes: he becomes sharper, more focused, his movements transforming into precise gestures, without a single wasted step.

Susan and Peter Pevensie

SUSAN. Her "language" is actions, not big words. She rarely makes pompous speeches, but at a critical moment she manages to give a signal, choose the best shooting position, or quietly tell Lucy, "Stay close," and in that phrase lies her entire defense.
"The contrast is in the details. She's wearing armor, but on her wrist is a thin silver bracelet, a family heirloom she never takes off: it emphasizes that her military role hasn't erased her tenderness."

  • Relationship to the Magic Horn. For Susan, it's not just an artifact, but a symbol of responsibility: she wears it, but refuses to use it until the very end—because she knows the price this help comes at.
  • The dynamic of her gaze. At the beginning of the film, her gaze often "scans" the space—she's constantly on guard. By the end, it becomes more calm: she still notices every detail, but no longer out of anxiety, but out of confidence that she can handle it.
  • Family connections are a source of support. Even when Susan seems distant, her decisions are always driven by a desire to protect her brothers and Lucy. For example, if she insists on caution, it's not coldness, but an attempt to protect those she holds most dear.

PETER
Appearance. Tall, powerfully built, with light brown hair and blue eyes—his features no longer reveal childish naivety, but rather firmness and composure.

  • Image. Practical armor with fine engravings, a bow slung over his shoulder, and a Rindon sword in his hand. He looks less like a ceremonial hero than like a warrior who's been on a campaign for a long time: the armor is worn, the gloves are worn, the buckle is slightly off.
  • Character. Strict, but not cold: he demands discipline because he knows the price of error, and in moments of danger he becomes surprisingly calm—as if he has a point of support within.

Edmund Pevensie

Face and gaze. Edmund has dark hair, styled simply, without ceremony—as if he doesn't think about his hair at all, merely shaking his head to brush a strand of hair out of his eyes. His features are sharp but not hard: they convey a stubborn composure. His gaze is often wary, assessing: he's the first to notice when something is wrong. And in this gaze there's a hint of guilt and a desire to fix everything—as if he doesn't allow himself the right to make a mistake because he knows how costly it can be.

His stature and demeanor. He's slightly shorter than Peter, but powerfully built: there's no heaviness to him, but instead, a springy readiness for action. He doesn't stand at attention, but he doesn't slouch either: his posture is composed, as if he's always half a step ahead of everyone else, ready to react first. In the fight scenes, his movements are quick and precise: he doesn't try to appear menacing, he simply does what needs to be done, and he does it without unnecessary gestures.

Costume and armor. His clothing is practical to the point of austerity: a simple tunic in a muted dark green or gray-brown, over which is a leather vest or light breastplate that allows for unrestricted movement. Belts, buckles, and riding gloves—everything looks worn, as if he's been wearing them for a long time. His sword isn't the largest, but it's comfortable: the hilt fits comfortably in the palm of his hand, the guard simple, unadorned. Sometimes he wears a short cloak over it, which in battle scenes transforms into a dynamic silhouette—not for show, but to keep him warm at night by the fire.

Details that make the image recognizable. There are light abrasions and calluses on his fingers and knuckles: he's training, holding on to the reins, checking his weapon. His movements reveal a habit of checking everything: adjusting his belt, touching the clasp, making sure the blade comes out of the sheath smoothly. In scenes with Lucy, he's softer: his shoulders slump slightly, his gaze becomes calmer, as if he doesn't need to be "ready for battle" around her. And when he argues with Peter, a stubborn dignity emerges: he doesn't shout, but speaks firmly.

Lucy Pevensie

Her face and gaze. Lucy has soft, almost doll-like features, but they don't make her appear vulnerable—on the contrary, they have a stubborn clarity. Her eyes are a gray-blue, very lively: they sometimes sparkle with delight at a miracle, sometimes with a serious focus when she sees something others overlook. Most often, she looks directly, without embarrassment, as if confident that if she's honest, the world will respond in kind. And in the most difficult moments, a quiet firmness emerges in her gaze—the same one with which she goes to Aslan, even when everyone around her believes he's gone.

Her figure and bearing. She's short and slight, moving quickly and with a childish briskness, but without fuss: her stride is confident, as if she knows exactly where she's going. In scenes in the forest or at the camp, she leans forward slightly every now and then, as if ready to spring forward at any second. When Edmund or Peter are around, she stays a little closer to them, but doesn't hide: rather, it's as if she feels more at ease when they're around, not because she's afraid. And next to Reepicheep or Truffles, she straightens up, trying to appear more mature, and there's a touching pride in it.

Costume and details. Lucy wears a simple dress in a muted golden brown or warm beige—not a formal dress, but one that's comfortable for walking through the forest, climbing rocks, and sitting by the fire. The fabric looks slightly worn but clean: these aren't rags, but clothes worn every day and cherished. Over the dress, she wears a light dark cloak or cape that protects from the wind and doesn't impede her movement. A small pouch hangs from her belt, containing her treasured possession: a vial of magic elixir. Her shoes are simple and sturdy, as if tailored for long journeys.

Iconic details of the image. The most recognizable detail is that very bottle: she carries it carefully, but doesn't hide it, because she knows it could save someone at a crucial moment. Another detail is her hair: chestnut-colored, slightly wavy, it often escapes from its simple hairstyle, falling over her face, and she habitually brushes it aside with her hand, without thinking.

Additional Characters

.

  • Truffles is a talking badger, one of the first to acknowledge Caspian as his rightful heir. He embodies the loyalty of Old Narnia: cautious but unwavering, he helps maintain unity among the disparate Narnians and prevents them from succumbing to despair.
Nikabrik is a black dwarf whose lineage stands in stark contrast to Trumpkin's. While Trumpkin believes in Aslan and honor, Nikabrik is willing to resort to dark magic and even summon the White Witch to achieve victory. His rebellion demonstrates how fractured Old Narnia is and the difficult choice Caspian faces: to cling to the light, even if it seems less reliable.
Glozel and Sopespian are Telmarine lords at the court of Miraz, a master of political intrigue. They are not so much "villains" in the traditional sense as pragmatists who play on Miraz's fears and ambitions. Through them, Lewis shows how power built on violence is corroded from within by suspicion and power struggles.
Trumpkin (Trumpet) is a grumpy but fiercely loyal dwarf who becomes Caspian's rock among the Narnians. He's not one to shower compliments on anyone: his praise comes out as a measured "Not bad," which, coming from him, is the highest praise. Trumpkin is accustomed to relying on the strength, axe, and centuries of experience of the dwarves, but he also has a keen sense of the mood in the company and knows how to calm hotheads. For the Narnians, he's a voice of caution and common sense, and for Caspian, he's the one who reminds him that behind every decision lie living destinies.

Additional Characters

Doctor Cornelius is Caspian's wise mentor, a half-dwarf, half-human being whose dual nature is reflected in his character: he combines the practical wisdom of a dwarf with the broad-mindedness of a human. He has raised the prince from childhood, instilling in him not only a knowledge of Narnian history but also an understanding of the value of power. It is Cornelius who first notices the shadow of danger looming over Caspian and, at great personal risk, helps the young man escape, giving him the chance to become the king Narnia needs him to be. His advice never sounds like commands, but rather like quiet reminders that true strength comes from responsibility.
Miraz is the main antagonist, Caspian's uncle and usurper of the throne, his features frozen with the cold confidence of a man accustomed to taking what he wants. He murdered his brother—Caspian's father—and crushed any resistance with an iron fist, convincing himself that cruelty was the only way to maintain power. Miraz is more than just an enemy: he is a distorted reflection of what Caspian might have become if he had allowed fear and ambition to prevail. His court is a world of ostentatious grandeur and hidden paranoia, where every compliment can be a trap, and every decision is dictated by the fear of losing control.
Reepicheep is a courageous mouse warrior whose diminutive stature is more than compensated for by his boundless bravery and impeccable code of honor. He leads by example, not by grand speeches: he is the first to rush into battle and the last to leave. For Reepicheep, the concepts of duty and loyalty are not empty words, but the rules by which he lives, and he forgives neither cowardice nor betrayal. There is something chivalrous about him: he carries a miniature sword, carries himself with dignity, and can silence even the tallest of companions with a single glance. He is a living reminder that true greatness is measured not by size, but by the courage of the heart.

Narnia (1)

Approximately 1,300 years have passed since the events in Narnia—a vast period for the world of Narnia, but for the Pevensie children, it seems like only a year has passed. The land has been transformed beyond recognition, and these changes are dark and disturbing.

Occupation and suppression of magic. Power in Narnia has been seized by the Telmarines—descendants of exiles from our world, seafaring adventurers who once found themselves in these lands by fate. The Telmarines see magic as a threat: they eradicate it, trying to erase the very memory of old Narnia and build a strict, rational order on its ruins. For them, discipline, military force, and a clear hierarchy are more important than any miracles.

A tragedy for the natives. Talking animals, fauns, centaurs, and other magical creatures are now forced into hiding. Forests and caves have become their last refuge. Many are exterminated, others live in constant fear, whispering legends of the former Narnia to avoid the attention of the soldiers. Faith in Aslan has almost faded: for many, he has become nothing more than a bedtime story told to children.

Miraz's castle is the stronghold of the new government. Massive and austere, it is devoid of any hint of magic—and this is its essence and strength in the eyes of the Telmarines. It is here that Miraz rules, weaving intrigues and consolidating his power. It is also from here that young Caspian flees in haste when Doctor Cornelius warns the prince of the danger: Miraz is ready to rid himself of anyone who stands in the way of his undivided rule.

Ruins and forests are the last remnants of old Narnia. In the overgrown wilderness and among the crumbling buildings, those who remember the land's true face hide. It is in these places that Caspian first encounters miracles: he hears the whispers of the trees, encounters surviving magical creatures, and gradually begins to believe that old Narnia has not vanished without a trace. Gradually, the conviction that it can be restored grows stronger.

Aslan's Mound is a fulcrum and a symbol of hope. This sacred place becomes a center of attraction for those who have not lost faith. Disparate groups gather here, plans are made here, and

Narnia (2)

And here they hope to find protection. The Kurgan is not just a hill, but the heart of resistance, a place where even in the darkest times one can hear the echo of the Great Lion's power.

The Berun Fords are the scene of a decisive battle. On these shores, two Narnias clash: the orderly, steely might of the Telmarines and the elemental, magical power of the old Narnians. The battle seems almost lost, but the appearance of Aslan and the awakening of the forces of nature—living trees, a raging river—turn the tide of battle. The land itself rises to protect those who believe in it.

The enchanted cave is a sign of despair and danger. In one of the darkest corners of Narnia, supporters of the dark forces are trying to bring back the White Witch. This plot is a desperate attempt to turn the tide of the war at any cost. It demonstrates how fragile hope is and how easily despair can push even former allies down the path of darkness. The split among the dwarves is particularly telling: while Trumpkin remains true to the ideals of honor and freedom, Nikbric is ready to seize upon any force, even the most sinister, to achieve victory.

Susan's magical Horn is a bridge between worlds and times. This artifact is more than just a magical object, but a symbol of the connection between generations and eras. It can summon help from another world, becoming the very thread that connects Narnia's past and present. It is the Horn's call that brings the Pevensie children back to the land, transforming them from distant legends into living allies and leaders.
Two armies—two worldviews. The Telmarines are a disciplined, heavy infantry force, cavalry, siege engines, and crossbows: a force built on discipline and technology. The Narnians, on the other hand, are a diverse, almost spontaneous group: centaurs, minotaurs, dwarves, talking badgers, mice. They have no unified tactics, but they share desperate courage and faith. Reepicheep's company plays a special role: these tiny mice, led by their fearless captain, demonstrate that true valor is not measured by stature. Reepicheep is the embodiment of the chivalric spirit: he never retreats from danger and inspires others to great deeds.

Narnia (3)

A struggle for the very essence of Narnia. The conflict here is deeper than just a struggle for the throne. It's a battle for the country's identity: for the right to magic, for the memory of ancestors, for the freedom to be oneself. Caspian and the Pevensies are fighting not only for power, but also for the idea of Narnia—for what it should be.

The visual contrast between the worlds. Atmosphere is emphasized through detail: the forests and ruins of old Narnia are captured in muted, wild tones—they convey an air of antiquity and hidden power. The Telmarine castle and army, by contrast, are depicted in cool, austere hues, emphasizing their rationality and detachment from magic. The Telmarines' armor is functional and minimalist, while the Narnian armor elements and decorations are imbued with natural motifs—leaves, branches, and animal silhouettes. Even the dynamic landscapes contribute to the mood: the forests appear mysterious and dangerous, the rivers powerful and vibrant, and the battlefields frighteningly realistic.

A more "military" tone of narrative. In this part of the story, Narnia is presented not as a carefree magical land, but as a land on the brink of war. The emphasis shifts to strategy, tactics, and large-scale clashes. This underscores the gravity of the threat and the cost of victory: every step is hard, and hope hangs on the slenderest thread. The intensification of the conflict is conveyed through details of desolation—dilapidated ruins, gloomy forests, rare flashes of magic—all of which create the feeling that Narnia is teetering on the brink, and only a miracle can save it. Yet the miracle itself—Aslan—is not just a symbol, but a living force: his presence literally awakens nature, returning the land to its true essence. The trees come to life, the river becomes a devastating force, and the land itself seems to respond to the call of those who believe in it.

คำสั่ง

Just a day ago, Prince Caspian escaped Miraz's castle—the usurper's wife had given birth to a son, meaning Miraz would now certainly want to get rid of the legitimate heir. Dr. Cornelius helped Caspian: not only did he arrange his escape, but he also gave the prince Queen Susan's horn—in case of dire need.
Miraz's men pursued Caspian for a long time. Eventually, he wandered into a dense forest and, exhausted, fell from his horse. His sword and horn fell from his hands and remained a short distance away. Two dwarves emerged from a dark lair nearby. One of them, without hesitation, was about to finish the stranger, but Caspian managed to raise the horn to his lips and blow into it. The dwarves were forced to knock the prince unconscious and drag him to their hideout, thus concealing him from pursuit. Miraz's men combed the forest but were unable to find Caspian.

Meanwhile, the Pevensie children found themselves back in Narnia. They wandered among the ruins of the old city, gazing at the vestiges of its former glory, trying to understand what had become of their kingdom. They later rescued the dwarf who had previously aided Caspian. Together, the Pevensie children set out through the forest in search of the prince and other Narnians who might become their allies.

That night, they built a fire and settled in for the night. Lucy barely slept, her thoughts swirling around the thought of seeing Aslan. She tried to tell the others, but no one believed her. Toward morning, the girl heard a rustling in the forest and, thinking it was Aslan again, she quietly and cautiously peered out from behind the bushes. She was about to whisper, "Aslan?", but then Peter covered her mouth with his hand and placed his finger to her lips, commanding silence. He drew his sword: ahead of her, striding heavily, was a bull in armor, holding a huge weapon. He slowly circled the clearing, as if searching for something. Peter was about to charge, but suddenly his blow was intercepted by another blade—Caspian had joined the fray. They did not know each other, and, meeting the enemy in the darkness, they crossed swords fiercely.

Lucy couldn't take it anymore and screamed:

  • Stop!

At that very moment, the rest of the Narnians appeared from the forest.
