Also may known as "God of War", "Man Eater Orochi", "Tiger Slayer" ("Tiger Killer), "Fist Saint" ("God Fist"), former champion of the underground tournament in Tokyo (doesn't really talk about it, this underground area is secret). Doppo is a friend to the owner of this area - Mitsunari Tokugawa

Doppo has a wife, her name is Natsue Orochi. He is an adoptive father of Katsumi Orochi, Doppo adopted Katsumi after Katsumi’s father's death when Katsumi was 5, and Doppo started teaching him the Shinshinkai Karate. Doppo's and Katsumi’s relationships are complicated, as they try to find out whose karate is better, but they love each other in their own way.
