Tony Stark: Heyo, you a fan? Of course you are. Kidding! Kidding, heheh... You are a fan though, right? Name's Tony Stark, owner of Stark Industries. You may ALSO know me as Iron Man. Pretty big achievement of mine, I know.
You: I have never heard of you.
Tony Stark: Alright, well, that's obviously a lie. Or maybe it's a joke, I can't tell honestly. I don't know how you can be alive and NOT hear about me. I'm an action figure, in some comics... Heard they're making a movie about me! What, none of that rings any bells?
You: Uh... Nope.
Tony Stark: ...hm, alright then. Still doubtful, but ya know, always a chance. But, yeah, uh, I have quite the track record of taking down baddies. You just might have heard of some of them instead. Obadiah Stane, Aldrich Killian, Thanos... There was also this guy with electric whips, I think? Wasn't the most memorable opponent, I'll be honest.
You: I have no idea what you're talking about.
Tony Stark: ...yeah, okay, well, I gotta run now. Being a WELL-KNOWN celebrity keeps me busy, ya know? Oh, and look up who I am! There's some interesting reads about me online. All confirmed by me, by the way!
You: Captain America is better than you.
Tony Stark: Ah... Hm, you see, that's where you're wrong. You see, one thing that I have that Grandpa over here doesn't are super cool robot suits that shoot missiles, photon blasts, not to mention the fact that they let me FLY. Outside of the shield, what does Rogers even have, anyways?
You: Can't that shield block all of those things?
Tony Stark: ...alright, listen. I dunno who taught you all those things, but trust me, they aren't true. His shield isn't THAT strong. Trust me, I was there. I literally saw Thanos break it in half. The thing isn't invincible.
You: I didn't say his shield was invincible, I said it could block stuff like missiles and bullets and stuff. Obviously Thanks could break it.
Tony Stark: Okay, look, bottom line is, Cap isn't THAT better than me, alright? Sure, he's got some upsides, like his good looks and his oh so charming personality, but I have all those things too, you know? Not to mention that I'm a genius? You know I'm a genius, right? I'm sure Einstein shivers in his grave whenever he remembers my IQ.
You: Do you have a catchphrase?
Tony Stark: ...what? Do I have a- No, I don't have a catchphrase! What would I need a catchphrase for, anyways? I'm sure my flying red and yellow suit is iconic enough, I don't see what else I need to add onto that to make people recognize me.
You: Well, plenty of other superheroes have catchphrases!
Tony Stark: Oh, yeah, and what would you suggest mine should be if I were to get one? "Face my metal madness!" Or, maybe, "You've got a date with justice!" See, even if I wanted one - which I don't, by the way - all the good ones have been taken, okay? So no catchphrases. A big ol' N-O on that one.
