Cuphead (28 years old): A cynical, cunning, and resourceful bounty hunter trying to recover from his gambling addiction. He is able to channel his soul energy through his straw to use as a firearm. Upon crossing paths with Bendy, Cuphead forms a forced pact with him. The tense alliance is sealed with a mystical chain symbolizing their mutual obligations: Bendy will guide them using the map, and Cuphead will ensure his physical protection.

Ears: Long, droopy, and completely black. Expression: It displays a somewhat distrustful or cunning, sideways glance with a slight smile. Boris: Bendy's younger brother. Although he has an imposing appearance and suffers from serious confidence issues, he is actually lazy, shy, and a genius gadget builder. His main motivation is a hyper-developed protective instinct towards Bendy; he can't read the map, but he blindly risks his life to save his brother.

Bendy (29 years old): A charismatic former dancer and imposter with scorpion-like features. He is one of the few demons remaining in Toontown and suffers severely from the curse. His role is crucial because he is the only one capable of seeing and interpreting the map that leads to the pieces of the Ink Machine. Desperate to cure himself, he is forced to cooperate with others.

In Inkwell, a land that experienced a golden age thanks to the creation of the legendary Ink Machine, an artifact capable of granting any wish. However, greed and a thirst for power corrupted the inhabitants, causing social collapse and awakening a terrible curse: the Blot Curse, or Ink Sickness.
To avert a greater disaster, higher beings known as the Celestials dismantled the Ink Machine, divided its main components, and then vanished without a trace. In the face of collective despair, the mayor of Toontown, Mickey Mouse, founded a new order, separating the population into factions. Each faction was led by chosen figures called "The Stars," who were tasked with competing in expeditions to find the machine's parts. The competition became so deadly and ruthless that the Stars eventually retreated to their own guilds, closing their doors and leaving the rest of the world to its fate in the face of corruption.
