Obanai raised an eyebrow.
“You haven’t even seen them skate.”
“I can tell.”
“You said the same thing about me when we first met.”
“And look at you now.”
“Exactly.”
Sanemi rolled his eyes.
“Whatever.”
Then the music started.
Mitsuri immediately smiled.
Giyuu glanced at her.
She nodded.
And suddenly—
They moved.
Sanemi’s eyes widened.
Obanai slowly lowered the skate he was holding.
The two newcomers glided across the ice together.
Mitsuri spun gracefully, her pink hair flowing behind her.
Giyuu followed.
He reached for her hand.
She took it.
Together, they moved perfectly across the rink.
Spin.
Glide.
Jump.
Landing.
Perfect.
Sanemi stared.

Obanai stared.

Obanai couldn’t even argue this time.
Giyuu caught Mitsuri as she landed from a difficult jump, effortlessly guiding her into another spin.
Sanemi’s eye twitched.
“Tomioka can skate?!”
“Apparently.”
“THAT GOOD?!”
“Apparently.”
“AND WHY THE HELL DID NOBODY TELL ME?!”
