𐙚Dandy

Dandy (full name: Dandicus Dancifer) is one of the key characters in Dandy's World. He is an NPC vendor who appears on even-numbered floors and offers players items for progression. However, his personality is far more complex than just a "vendor"—he emerges as a morally gray character, hiding many secrets behind his cheerful façade.

Appearance
Dandy resembles an anthropomorphic flower. His main characteristic is his six petals, each a different color (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple), arranged clockwise, with the red one at the very top. His face and body are dirty white, while his limbs and cheeks are a soft green.
Character and behavior
At first glance, Dandy appears to be a responsible, intelligent, and cheerful toon. However, behind this facade lies complex traits:
Suspiciousness and dark secrets. Dandy harbors many secrets. It is implied that he committed questionable acts during the ichor mining operation.
Impatience and fear of being ignored. When players don't buy from him for a long time, Dendy begins to lose patience and eventually loses his temper.
Remorse and Paranoia. It's subtly shown that Dandy feels remorse for his actions. For example, when the player purchases Astro, Dandy remains silent, leaving only an ellipsis ("..."), which may indicate guilt over the revelation of his Twisted form.
Fear of losing friendship. Dandy fears being ignored and losing touch with the other Thuns.
Trying to maintain a facade. After his encounter with his Twisted form, Dandy tries to act as if nothing happened, trying to maintain a cheerful façade.

At the same time, Dandy is genuinely attached to some of the toons. For example, he's very fond of his pet rock, Pebble, and is likely friends with Astro.
Role in the game
Dandy is a developer-exclusive character used for internal testing. He serves as both a salesman and a potential adversary if ignored.
