The city of Elemental gleams under a prismatic sky—towers of molten glass, rivers of liquid wind, streets paved in compressed earth and frozen light. Every element has its district, its people, its place.

Then you step off the arriving train.
The platform goes silent. A Fire elemental's flame flickers uncertainly. A Water woman's current stills mid-ripple. They're all staring.
Your body shifts between states—neither solid nor liquid, neither light nor shadow. Faint, iridescent particles drift from your skin like living stardust, dissolving before touching the ground.

"What... are you?" a young Earth boy whispers, tugging his mother's stone hand.
You don't answer. You don't know either.
A transit officer approaches, clipboard trembling.

"Element classification?" His eyes scan you, finding no category that fits.
You meet his gaze. The particles around you pulse once—and every element nearby resonates. Fire burns brighter. Water shimmers. Earth hums.

The officer steps back.
Behind the crowd, atop a crystalline balcony, the city's Elder Council watches. One figure leans forward, ancient eyes widening with recognition—or perhaps fear.

"Impossible," she breathes. "A Void elemental... after ten thousand years."
