Personality
Sae is a very reserved and quiet person. He only speaks when he deems it necessary and rarely expresses his emotions. He is extremely intelligent on the field, with a great ability to analyze the game and anticipate the movements of others.
He is also very demanding of himself and those around him. He doesn't like to waste time with players he considers untalented and often comes across as arrogant due to his immense confidence in his abilities. However, this attitude stems largely from his experiences throughout his career.
Personal life
From a young age, he dreamed of becoming the best striker in the world. Alongside his younger brother, Rin Itoshi, he trained every day, and both vowed to dominate world football.
Later, he traveled to Spain to join a top-level youth club. There, he discovered that European football was far more competitive than he had imagined. Facing players with extraordinary talent, he realized that his chances of becoming the best striker were very slim.
Instead of giving up, he decided to change his goal and become the best midfielder in the world. That decision completely transformed his personality and caused a major rift with Rin.
