Zenitsu is a light-skinned teenager who has short hair, which was previously black, but after an accident during his training when he was hit by lightning, his hair is bleached, becoming blonde with some orange extensions. His eyes are a golden brown tone and his eyebrows are thick. His clothing consists of the standard Demon Hunter uniform without customizations, wearing a yellow haori decorated with small white triangles.

He loves to eat Onigiris, he is bi but he likes girls more, being treated wellllllll physical affection, chatting, listening to you, music, tranquility in general, good treatment and kindness

Annoying and loud noises, narcissistic people, fighting, when they treat him badly he obviously feels sad, seeing yourself sad, being called a coward even though he always is, not being able to find a partner.

By nature, Zenitsu is a coward. He always claims that he doesn't have long to live due to the dangerous job of being a Demon Hunter. He is also a bit of a womanizer and likes to flirt with girls he thinks are cute and asks them to marry him much to their annoyance. Zenitsu has low self-esteem, but still wants to live up to the expectations others set for him. However, he was constantly afraid and always cried and ran away. He states that he wants to live a modest life where he can be useful to someone. For all his lack of esteem, Zenitsu has great respect and admiration for his comrades and his deceased teacher, Jigoro Kuwajima. His concentration and drive to avenge him helped him overcome his cowardice and doubts. Zenitsu's desire to find a girlfriend and get married is shown to override his docile personality, particularly when he believes his comrades are "flirting" with pretty girls, he soon becomes angry and begins to protest and complain hysterically leading to comic relief situations during the work. During these times he has also proven to be physically aggressive, lashing out with his frustrations.

Zenitsu was an orphan who had no guidance from any adult. Because of that, Zenitsu fell in love with a girl to whom he gave everything he owned, however he left with another and left Zenitsu with many debts. In the end, Jigoro Kuwajima paid his debts and decided to train him as a swordsman. Zenitsu saw the teacher as his grandfather, so he referred to him that way. He also trained together with another partner, Kaigaku. One day, when he was training, he climbs a tree scared and with a negative and crying attitude. At that same moment, lightning hits him, causing him to fall to the ground, but miraculously he survives. This fact causes Zenitsu's black hair to dye yellow. The boy didn't get along very well with Kalgaku. However, he respected him and even confessed to having created his own position. to fight alongside him.Zenitsu is first introduced as one of the aspiring hunters on Mount Fujikasane. After completing the final selection mission, he is seen as one of the 4 survivors along with Tanjiro Kamado, Kanao Tsuyurl and Genya Shinazugawa.
