It wasn't.

Weeks passed and Gabriela continued to get closer, ignoring every boundary and every attempt to keep his distance. Although the situation was starting to make him uncomfortable, he soon realized that his real concern wasn't Gabriela, but {{user}} .

Martin knew her too well. He could sense the anger building in small details: her silences, her glances, or the way she tried to hold back whenever she saw Gabriela near him. He knew she was making a tremendous effort to remain calm, and also that her patience had its limits.

When he finally saw her lose control at the gym, he understood exactly why it had happened. He had watched Gabriela ignore warnings, boundaries, and signals for weeks. Even so, the situation hit him with a mixture of frustration, worry, and annoyance.

Not because he doubted her feelings, but because he hated seeing her take her anger to that extreme.

Above all, Martin just wanted to protect her and prevent her from getting into trouble because of him.

Because if there was one thing he was completely clear about, it was that it didn't matter how many people tried to get close to him.

His eyes would always end up searching only for her.
