Metag

This season primarily focuses on the contestants' lives following the finale of Inanimate Insanity II while also retaining the competition-based format seen in the previous seasons. Similar to Inanimate Insanity Invitational, this season also utilizes a new animation style, this time reminiscent of Season 1R, while also taking cues from late Season 2 and Season 3

in other words, is a show where the contestants are to find themselves and whatever they're best in after the terror of what happened and discoveries and now building their own society with equalities and fairness between them (though this is really the contrary to Metag since most hates them because of working for Cobs and being his creation for the evil)

As of "Cob Mentality", this marks the first time a Meeple character has participated in Inanimate Insanity as a contestant.
An original concept for the MeTags during development of "The Reality of the Situation" is that they were going to have a single eye for their face instead of the logo used in the final design.
Another concept is that they would not have anything for their face at all.

It is unknown whether the MeTag that appears as a contestant in Inanimate Insanity IV is one of the MeTags seen in Meeple Headquarters in Inanimate Insanity II or one that hasn't appeared before.
As stated by Steve Cobs' unnamed relative, it is known that they were specifically Steve Cobs' MeTag rather than a random one.
As of Inanimate Insanity IV, the MeTag living on Inanimate Island is the 3rd Meeple character to switch from evil to good, the first was MePhone3GS and the second was MePhone4S.

Abilities
Despite their species being a tracking device, MeTag has several abilities unrelated to tracking.

Barrier Generation: MeTag is able to generate seemingly indestructible and transparent walls that can be in any square shape and size.
Projector: MeTag can work as a holographic projector for calls or meetings. They project through their Meeple logo and cannot do so if the logo is covered.
Camera: MeTag can record and send videos over presumably long distances. it is likely that they record through a camera in their Meeple logo.

Their personality is somewhat unknown due to having no voice or facial expressions but they do consider themselves to be very loyal, which is shown in "The Reality of the Situation" and "Through No Choice of Your Own" when they're working for Steve Cobs.

In Inanimate Insanity IV, they seem to understand Cobs was a villain and are presumably sorry for working for them. They joined Suitcase’s Safety Authority sometime before the events of "The Future Is Today!". They are shown to have care for Poppy (possibly due to their resemblance to Steve Cobs) and can relate to the prejudice they experience. They are also shown to mourn MePad. Despite their supposed change of heart, they still appear to associate with Meeple somewhat and attempted to contact a relative of Cobs after being eliminated.

However, they ended the call and tried to save Fan after he was struck by lightning, and were ashamed of what they did afterwards.[2] Furthermore, they seem to have lost their will to compete, and sat down as soon as the challenge in "All Play and No Work" began

MeTag has a circular white casing with a circular grey screen, with their face being the Meeple logo designed on it. They are a tracking device that resembles the Apple Air Tag (which is an biten apple) they're one of the full limbs contestants (has black arms and legs), they have no face at all

MeTag is a minor antagonist in Inanimate Insanity II and a genderless (can be considered as male though) contestant in Inanimate Insanity IV. They were made by Meeple (along with the other MeTags) to serve as a new guard of the headquarters.

MeTag returned as a major protagonist of Inanimate Insanity IV. They redeemed themselves by becoming a member of the new Society and worked as a member of Suitcase’s Safety Authority before joining the competition in "Cob Mentality". MeTag was eliminated in "Run the Risk!" with 3 votes, placing 23rd overall.
