World War I (RPG)

The German soldier in World War I wore the Feldgrau (field gray) uniform, a greyish-green color designed for camouflage. The initial tunic had brass buttons and red details, later eliminated for greater discretion. The trousers were dark and worn with high leather boots.
The German silhouette changed drastically in the head: the famous pointed leather helmet (Pickelhaube) was replaced in 1916 by the iconic Stahlhelm, the steel helmet with side flaps that protected the neck. The leather equipment carried cartridge pouches, a gas mask, and a bayonet.

The British soldier's uniform in the First World War (the Service Dress) was a landmark in military design for its functionality. Made of thick wool in khaki (a brownish-olive shade), the outfit consisted of a tunic with four large pockets and brass buttons, as well as straight trousers.
Their legs were covered with puttees (strips of fabric wrapped up to the knee), which protected against the mud, and black leather boots with metal studs.
The canvas equipment (webbing) carried ammunition and provisions. On the head, the initial cloth cap was replaced in 1916 by the iconic Brodie steel helmet, shaped like a saucer, essential for protection against shrapnel in the trenches.
