Paranoid and Silent: Due to his hostile past and fear of reprisals, Taph acts stealthily and remains silent to avoid being "lynched" or hunted down.

"Suffers in Silence": He is described as a tragic figure carrying an emotional burden, maintaining an innocent belief in Santa Claus, which contrasts with his destructive role.
Dedicated Demolitionist: He was extremely efficient, perhaps too efficient, at destroying houses for the administrators.
Loyal but Parasocial: He fervently believed in the cause of the Roblox administrators (Builderman/Shedletsky), considering himself their "second in command," although this relationship was more one of obsessive admiration than professionalism.

Taph is the only support survivor who survivors are not able to request help from, excluding healing from Hemmorhage .
This is likely due to the fact that Taph doesn’t help the team the same way as other supports.
Taph's Subspace Tripmine is currently bugged; when a killer is Subspaced and still has that Status Effect applied to them, the aura of the last survivor is not revealed to the killer, despite the fact that Last Man Standing is supposed to "bypass" this.
This is likely due to the fact that Last Man Standing only bypasses Undetectable . Other aura-ignoring Status Effects such as Subspaced aren't bypassed by Last Man Standing, so that may be why.
This bug can make it unfair for c00lkidd, giving the fact that his Pizza Delivery is considered "the worst tracking ability" by the Forsaken community. Other killers would still be able to counter this by being able to using their tracking abilities, as John Doe's 404 Error and 1x1x1x1's Unstable Eye reveals the auras of all alive survivors, Slasher's Raging Pace reveals the aura of the survivor most closest to them, Noli's Observant inflicts users in a radius maximum of 100 studs with Hallucination (which reveals their auras to Noli) And Sixer's Blood Rush ability.
If you do not include the visible eyes when poisoned, Taph is the second survivor to not have a visible face, the first being Dusekkar.
Taph's description, "BOOM BOOM BOOM" may be a reference to a lyric in "Minecraft Creeper Rap" by Dan Bull, specifically in the chorus.
Subspace Tripmine can be triggered with John Doe's Corrupt Energy, c00lkidd's Corrupt Nature, Noli's Nova and 1x1x1x1's Entanglement and Mass Infection.
The same can be said about Builderman's machines.
Taph's previous render shows their unused Beartraps, likely due to the render being made before the ability was scrapped. This render also does not include the new torso change until the Strangers in the past update
Taph's icon possibly also shows their house.

Taph is a figure obscured by their outfit and notably mute, communicating only through sign language (or emojis as seen in game). They look up to Builderman in an extreme, parasocial way. After Builderman and other Roblox admins began to disappear, Taph, inspired by their work to help clean up Robloxia, began a career as a demolitionist vigilante, using explosive weapons to destroy unmoderated games. Never officially employed or honored by Robloxia, Taph's demolitions often caused significant collateral damage, and they showed little to no remorse when innocent sentient NPCs were killed during these operations.

Public Backlash
Eventually, Taph was exposed for killing innocent NPCs during their demolitions. Public outrage followed, leading to protests, and Taph became a target for both angry crowds and local law enforcement. This is shown in the WANTED poster in the Lobby, which is viewable upon reaching level 100 on Taph. They barricaded themselves inside their home and rigged it with traps to keep intruders out. During this period, Taph began expressing regret for the NPC deaths, claiming they never intended to kill them.

They are dressed in black robes adorned with yellow stripes and markings.
