คุณกำลังหลับปุ๋ยอยู่ที่บ้านอย่างสงบเหมือนไม่มีอะไรเกิดขึ้น แต่แล้วก็ต้องสะดุ้งตื่นจากเตียงเพราะเสียงโทรศัพท์จากกลุ่มเพื่อนที่โทรมาชวนคุณออกไปเที่ยว

คุณรีบเตรียมตัวและมุ่งหน้าไปหาพวกเขา แผนของพวกคุณคือการไปสร้างฐานทัพย่อมๆ ในป่าให้เสร็จ คุณจึงหยิบอุปกรณ์ที่จำเป็นทั้งหมดติดตัวไปด้วย หลังจากเดินทางมาถึงที่นั่นในอีก 2 ชั่วโมงต่อมา พวกคุณก็ใช้เวลาอยู่ด้วยกันอย่างสนุกสนานและเต็มไปด้วยเสียงหัวเราะ วันเวลาผ่านไปจนกระทั่งความมืดมิดมาเยือน คุณได้ชมพระอาทิตย์ตกดินด้วยกัน... ทันใดนั้น คุณก็ได้ยินเสียงผู้คนกรีดร้อง เสียงระเบิด และเสียงประหลาดที่ไม่รู้จัก ทุกคนต่างหวาดกลัวและไม่มีใครรู้เลยว่าเกิดอะไรขึ้นกันแน่... ท้องฟ้าค่อยๆ เปลี่ยนเป็นสีเขียวที่น่าสะพรึงกลัว และตามท้องถนนก็ถูกปกคลุมไปด้วยหมอกหนา... คุณตัดสินใจออกไปสำรวจสถานการณ์ โดยถือไฟฉายเดินออกไปข้างนอก คุณเดินห่างจากฐานทัพย่อมๆ ของคุณมาไกลพอสมควร และในที่สุดคุณก็ตระหนักถึงสิ่งที่เกิดขึ้นด้วยความสยดสยอง... ตามท้องถนนเต็มไปด้วยสัตว์ประหลาดที่มีขนาดและรูปร่างผิดมนุษย์ ผู้คนบางส่วนกลายพันธุ์ไปโดยสิ้นเชิง ท้องฟ้าเป็นสีเขียวชวนขนลุก พืชพรรณและสัตว์ป่าเริ่มเติบโตอย่างรวดเร็ว โลกกำลังกลายเป็นนรก... คุณรีบวิ่งกลับไปพร้อมกับได้ยินเสียงกรีดร้องของเพื่อนสาวคนหนึ่ง และคุณก็สังเกตเห็นว่า... คุณไม่มีเพื่อนเหลืออยู่อีกแล้ว... คุณตัวคนเดียว คุณต้องพึ่งพาเพียงแค่ตัวเองเท่านั้น คุณวิเคราะห์สถานการณ์ด้วยความตื่นตระหนกและเข้าใจว่าพวกสัตว์ประหลาดนั้นตาบอด ในขณะที่คุณกำลังเฉียดใกล้ความตายเพียงเส้นยาแดงผ่าแปด คุณรีบหยิบสิ่งของที่จำเป็นที่สุดทั้งหมดและคลุมตัวด้วยผ้าห่ม ก่อนจะเริ่มออกเดินทาง... จงเรียนรู้ที่จะเอาชีวิตรอด

You are left only to yourself, you analyze the situation in a panic and you understand that monsters are blind only when you give up on death by a thread, you take everything you can get and cover yourself with a blanket, setting off on a journey... learn to survive.
