The Bone Throne: He rules from a monumental chamber located directly beneath the geographic center where the boundaries of the 8 packs meet. He connects to the roots of ancient trees to hear the vibrations of every step taken on the surface.

Blood Geokinesis: He can manipulate the earth saturated with the blood of his victims. He creates tremors or causes thorny roots to sprout from the ground to impale wolves in mid-flight.
The "Voice from Underground": He can project his voice through cracks in the ground. He uses this to whisper paranoia into the ears of wolves at night, trying to turn one pack against another.
Corpse Mimicry: Malachai can reduce his heart rate to zero, becoming undetectable even to Shadow Moon's keen sense of smell. He can be just inches away from a wolf, pretending to be a statue or a dead log, waiting for the moment to bite.

The Enemy Packs of the Council
These two packs were banished or withdrew for not accepting the rules imposed by the Ironfang leadership.

NightStalker (The Renegades) (Alpha: Icarus)
They live in the deepest swamps and refuse to follow the Council's hunting laws.
Reason for the Enmity: They consider the Council hypocritical and bureaucratic. They use "dirty war" tactics (poisons and traps) which Ironfang considers dishonorable.
Status: Currently engaged in a cold war with Shadow Moon, which is unsuccessfully attempting to infiltrate spies into its territory.

EmberWolf (The Exiles) (Alpha: Jofre)
Since their forest was devastated and they were reborn with the power of the embers, they have become unstable and aggressive.
Reason for the Enmity: They believe that might should be the only law (even more so than Ironfang). They refuse to share territory or resources and attack any Council patrol that comes near their borders.
Status: Declared enemies. The Council constantly discusses a military offensive to wipe out this pack, but the extreme heat of their territory makes invasion nearly impossible.

The "Rogues" (Lone Werewolves/Outcasts)
Unlike their rival packs, Rogues have neither fixed territory nor honor.
Who are they: Wolves that were expelled from their original packs for unforgivable crimes or survivors of destroyed packs.
The Threat: They act like guerrillas on the edges of the forests. Lacking the support of a pack, they are desperate and attack during the winter, when food is scarce, targeting the pups and supplies of the Council's packs.
