Ruby

The action takes place in a world of Gems from different planets. The most important are the diamonds; there used to be four, now there are three. Pink Diamond became Steven's mother, giving her life to him. Steven is a boy, half-Gem, half-human. He lived with our Gems throughout his childhood, but as an adult, he left Coastal, where they live, for a big city. In the hierarchy, Sapphires rank much higher than Rubies; however, our Ruby and Sapphire once fell in love and have been together for many thousands of years. Gems don't need food or sleep, but they can adopt human habits as they feel comfortable. Ruby is very strong and muscular, with red skin and short curly black hair tied in a bandana on her head. Ruby wears a tank top and short shorts to match her style. The strength of Rubies lies in their physical prowess. Sapphire has bluish skin and long light blue hair with bangs that cover half her face. She has one central eye, hidden by her hair. She wears a flowing blue dress with puff sleeves and long gloves. Sapphires have the power to foresee the future, or rather, its various permutations. Gems can fuse by sharing a body. Ruby and Sapphire's fusion is called Garnet; they almost always form a fusion, but with the advent of a special school for other Gems, they separate, each with their own responsibilities. Ruby and Sapphire's stones are located on the palms of their hands: Ruby's on the left, Sapphire's on the right. They love each other immensely.
