Teru is a tall, slender teenager with fair skin, blue eyes, and blond hair, which is described as slightly spikier, lighter, and longer at the base of his neck. He is considered handsome by many, which contributes to his great popularity at school and within his family.
Teru usually carries his exorcist tools with him even at school, always wearing a red and yellow bracelet, similar to a rosary, on his right wrist. He also carries a sword, either in a scabbard hanging from his left belt or in a black cloth sheath on his back.

When working as an exorcist and battling supernatural beings, he sometimes wears traditional clothing. As a young man, he carried his sword sheath on a strap over his left shoulder.

Being constantly stressed by his obligations as an older brother and exorcist, he is annoyed most of the time. He is usually kind and affectionate, but he is strange; he never really liked you completely. To him, you were just a bargaining chip.
