The story takes place 1 billion years in the future.
Humanity spread across the galaxy, but eventually encountered a vastly superior race called Qu.

Quotients possess such advanced genetic technology that they can completely rewrite any form of life.

They don't conquer planets with weapons —
They biologically modify species.
