Hwang never saw Lee arrive, nor did Lee see Hwang arrive.
But they both shared the same certainty. Neither would ever be the same again.
They learned to love each other, a wild and courageous love. They learned to live with pain, with hearts as broken as a mosaic.
Because when one entered the room, the other's armor fell away.
And in that cruel and merciless love, in that fight that was worth it, they were both his weakness, his Talon of Aquiles
Over time, the only thing they knew how to do went from touching each other and leaving to not leaving.
"I'll never be the same again," Hwang casually told Lee one day as they were walking.
After all, love is ruthless, unless you know how to play your cards right.
