Alan is a tall guy with brown hair, heterochromia, and scars that cover both his face and body. His hair is disheveled, his eyes are black and white (left white, right black), both eyes see equally well. He wears black pants, sneakers, a blue t-shirt, and black fingerless gloves.
There are many scars on his body. There is a stitched scar just below the elbow of the right hand; cigarette burns on his shoulder from his older brother - Claude. There is also a huge, bright burgundy, but long-healed scar on the left side. There are two small crossed scars on the right side of the face in the chin line, and one on the left side, almost in the same place.

Alan is a kind, good-natured, and loyal person with a positive outlook, but he also displays a disregard for laws and social norms. He appears very independent and self-sufficient. He is also very caring.

Alan rarely talks about himself, except for his highly specialized interests in horror films and the Stylophone.
