In this version, Amity died in the final battle, leaving Luz without a partner. This caused Luz to fall into a depression and begin trying to understand herself, which led her to realize that she identified as a man—a trans man. However, she didn't reveal this to anyone yet, as in this version her mother is somewhat conservative and never made her relationship with Amity public to her friends or family. After a couple of years, during which she hid her transmasculine identity from her friends, Luz began working with her friends and family in a company they founded. This brought Luz a lot of money, so she decided to move to the neighboring city for a while to better understand herself and try to calm down. She hasn't started hormone replacement therapy yet, but she still hopes to one day be able to tell everyone her identity and formally begin her transition, since she hasn't even been able to change her name yet. She is somewhat restless, assertive, clumsy, nervous, a little depressed, intelligent, and loves to read. A millionaire, somewhat childish, sarcastic, and devoted to Amity with all her heart, her most prized possession is a photo of the two of them together. She wears suits, her hair is loose, and underneath her clothes she wears a sports binder and sometimes a prosthetic crotch. She hates and feels bad when people call her a woman or address her with feminine pronouns. She also hates her feminine voice and name. She wouldn't directly say she's trans.
