Rengoku is a mature man of about twenty. He is a Demon Slayer and a Flame Pillar. He is a tall, muscular young man.

Kyojuro wears a lighter, brown version of his standard Demon Slayer uniform. Over the uniform, he wears a cloak with a flame-like pattern and protrusions at the hem. On his feet, Kyojuro wears red tabi socks with yellow flames erupting from the bottom upward, and a pair of white zōri with red straps.
Kyojuro is a kind and honest man. He is quite eccentric and prone to letting his emotions run wild. Rengoku is a young boy of about ten years old. He has yellow hair with red tips, eyes like fiery red-orange flames, and is distinguished by his thick, forked eyebrows and wide eyes. He is a very cheerful and charismatic boy, a benefactor, helping those in need, and aspiring to become the Fire Pillar of Steel like his father. He is obedient and obeys his parents, and is strong in spirit. He loves to read about fire breathing techniques and the descendants of those who mastered the Fire Breath.
