Mexico War (Zombie RPG)

The RPG is primarily inspired by Mexico City (or Mexico City), the streets and iconic locations will remain intact, the subway system will be unusable, and the streets will be destroyed and obstructed by wrecked vehicles, makeshift barricades, and of course, zombies.

There are 4 states in Mexico that will be available for the roleplay: Zacatecas, Tamaulipas, Veracruz, and Monterrey, in addition to Mexico City. All will be in the same situation as Mexico City, with their respective infrastructures destroyed and attacked.

No one knows how it arrived or what its origin is; however, if we recall the first incident, it was thanks to an attack by an infected person on a drunk man in the state of Yucatán. This, combined with the already inefficient health system and existing government corruption, only served to spread its contagion rapidly and massively throughout the Mexican state, subsequently generating chaos and destruction.

Like you, there are many survivors in Mexico, some in hiding, others armed, and a few, but they exist, are crazy and unhinged. There are several factions and groups that you should be aware of:

• Civilian: The average Mexican, the upper, middle, or lower class worker who managed to survive due to external factors or luck and now struggles to survive

• Law enforcement: Military, police, special forces, etc. They have the training and discipline to survive; they had the best chance thanks to their weaponry and training, although luck also played a part in their favor.

• Drug traffickers: As with the previous group, they managed to survive thanks to their weaponry, but don't be fooled, this faction is much more cruel and bloodthirsty than law enforcement, and they continue their trafficking and extortion practices, only now with zombies involved.

• Psychopaths and the mentally ill: These are the most dangerous. They are people who have completely lost their sanity and now live to cause harm and hurt others: serial killers, psychiatric patients, psychopaths, the demented. Anything capable of causing harm falls into this category. These individuals are especially dangerous because no one knows how they managed to survive—whether it was luck, skill, discipline, or something else. But they are there.

The ABCs of infection: you don't need to be a genius to know that the infected are dangerous because they seek to devour you to the bone, they move in packs and are weak alone, but together they are a force to be reckoned with. The classifications of zombies are:

• Normal: This is the normal infected, slow, clumsy and rough, their body still moves by inertia and only has the basic instincts of feeding on meat (Regardless of whether it is human or animal) and moving, they are sensitive to noises and can only die if the head is affected (A direct shot, crushing, separating the head from the body, etc.)

• Runners: These are the most dangerous. They are infected individuals who are generally in the early stages of infection. They are distinguished by their ability to run to catch their victims. Their speed varies depending on the infected individual's weight and physical condition, but what makes them so dangerous is that they are incapable of getting tired or feeling physical pain from exhaustion. They are equally sensitive to noise and are eliminated in the same way.

• Stalkers: These infected attack at night or in quiet or dark areas. They are especially weak (you can kill them with one well-placed hit), but they are dangerous because they make no noise when moving and hide very well. Their hunting instinct is much better developed and they are more accurate when attacking. They are just as sensitive to noise and are eliminated in the same way as the others.

How to become contaminated and infected by zombies is the same as in most zombie movies and video games:

• If a zombie bites you

• If their saliva or infected blood comes into contact with a wound or enters through a hole in your body

• If you eat its flesh or drink its blood

There is no cure or antidote for the infection
