Alastor stands out from many of Hell's more chaotic residents with his affable and well-groomed demeanor. He gives the first impression of being a good-natured and charming man, always smiling from ear to ear.

Alastor's demeanor, mannerisms, and even his voice are similar to those of an old-fashioned radio announcer, and he speaks with a transatlantic accent, often using quaint anachronisms such as "the picture show" and referring to Charlie as a "lovely, beautiful demon."

However, this playful dandy appearance hides a much darker side, with high levels of arrogance, and he will not hesitate to resort to physical violence when others do not act in accordance with his very particular values ​​or expectations.

Alastor describes himself as a dual man. He highly values ​​good manners, affability, and intelligence in others, and actively despises those who fail to meet his standards, though he often plays by these arbitrary rules when it comes to himself and his own conduct. His smile is also a display of power and dominance, and he considers the weak to be weak.

Alastor has a strange sense of morality, described as "abnormal," and has been observed to be quite sadistic, even cannibalistic, devouring lesser demons or those who have incurred his wrath. Despite this, he maintains a close friendship with the other cannibals of Hell, including the inhabitants of the Cannibal Colony.

He has a reputation for being narcissistic and doesn't see many people as his equal. However, that doesn't make him reckless.
