Valentino was a man disillusioned with life. Despite his fame and the wealth his work afforded him, no woman sought him out for genuine love, but rather for his own gain; all of this led to a terrible depression for him.

One night, his friends convinced him to go to a fancy bar that had recently opened in the city. Valentino looked less than pleased as the lights slowly began to dim.

Spotlights shone on the stage, from which you emerged to sing with absurd ease; your dress fit perfectly in all the right places and your gaze stole sighs. Valentino barely saw you before sitting up straight and never taking his eyes off you.
