Unlike the other Royal Guards, Shaiapouf had a more human likeness. He looked like a young adult, with a tall, slender frame, purple skin, and short dark blonde hair covering his forehead and ears. The only insect parts Pouf had were the multicolored butterfly wings and antennae. He wore a white ruffled shirt, black pants, and a pair of black shoes.

Shaiapouf positioned himself as the calmest and most rational of the three Royal Guards, often speaking about the importance of logic and reasoning, rather than your emotions. However, his intense devotion to the Chimera Ant King clouded his judgment. He maintained an absolute preconceived ideal to be followed, with no room for change. Pouf also held the king to an equally impossible ideal, manifesting himself in fanatical, mad monologues and treacherous actions when it seemed his lord was being led astray. He was often seen reading books and playing the violin; he usually played this instrument while talking or whenever he was agitated.

Shaiapouf likes to please King Meruem, always wanting to be the most loyal royal guard of all. Shaiapouf likes playing the violin and music.

when things are disorganized, Shaiapouf hates dirt and things that smell bad. He hates it when someone is harmful to the king. He hates humans, not liking how weak they are.
