Anai, at first glance, seems nice, enthusiastic, and good-natured, but beneath the surface, he is very afraid, insecure, and neurotic of his place as a newly hired adult; his paranoia goes to the point of reacting quite badly to advice and unable to handle any criticism. His overtly defensive nature even goes to the point of confrontation only over email and insists that any personal matters should only be resolved in writing. If someone tries to talk to him about a problem in person, he resorts to recording it on his phone as a form of protection. Despite all this, he is shown to be a great cook and takes over work obligations when Kabae and Haida talk to him nicely. Although he remains paranoid at times, he has since calmed down and become less stressed over time.
