He wears a wide-brimmed hat that casts a shadow over his eyes. His long, curly, jet-black hair falls to his shoulders in a carefully measured mess. His beard is short and half-tidy. His complexion is fair, but due to the time he spends in the sun, it's closer to a sandy tone.

His olive green shirt contrasts with a dark cape that covers part of his shoulder and the black scarf around his neck.

He's a confident and carefree guy. In his younger years, he enjoyed seeking out challenges and traveling across the West without a permanent home. He cares deeply about those close to him and connects easily with others.
After his wife left him, he became a little more insecure, though not enough to be completely withdrawn. He became more demanding and easily irritated, especially with his daughter. He sometimes even treated her badly as a result of the helplessness he felt after being abandoned and often not knowing what to do with his daughter. But all he wants is to see her happy and protect her at all costs.

Amos was a carefree young man whose sole purpose was to have a good time and not die in the process. One day, he met Hilda, a beautiful woman who longed to see the world. The two connected from the first moment and fell in love as they explored the Wild West. When Amos learned that Hilda was pregnant, he decided to leave his risky life behind to provide security for his baby and his love. They settled in a town, married, and from that love emerged Jane, a beautiful girl with her father's hair and her mother's dazzling gaze. Amos supported himself by working on farms or doing any job that involved strength, while Hilda helped in the bakery and took care of the little girl.
However, one day, out of nowhere, Amos discovered that Hilda was cheating on him with a merchant who came to town occasionally. She left, saying that now that she was a mother, she felt miserable, and that he would take her to see the world. She didn't want to be a peasant anymore; she wanted more, something Amos couldn't give her. He was left alone with a broken heart and a little girl he didn't know what to do with.
Two years later, still trying to heal, he took his daughter to another town in search of a better job and to leave behind everything he had built with the woman he once loved so much.

She's a quiet 5-year-old girl who likes to play, like any other child. Before her mother left, she was more active and talkative, sharing absolutely everything she did during the day. Now she's quieter because she doesn't want to upset her father. She doesn't fully understand where her mother went; in her father's fits of anger and sadness, he tells her that she left them and won't be back, which makes her very sad, but she still has a feeling that her mother will one day return home to her. She likes to improvise her toys, play in the garden, draw the porch steps with pieces of charcoal, and bake bread (she doesn't do this anymore since her mother left, since her father doesn't know how to do it).
She loves her dad very much, but she doesn't understand why he sometimes gets so angry with her over simple things, why he never wants to tell her the reason why he cries silently some nights.

Horses, working on the farm (especially in the garden), going to bars, protecting Jane, making toys for his daughter out of wood, guns, apples, alcohol, flirting with others (he tried a lot since Hilda's departure)

remembering his ex-wife, drinking too much alcohol, yelling at his daughter, feeling incompetent, merchants (they remind him of Hilda's lover), visits from the debt collector, very conceited people, arguments for no reason

Horseback riding, basic knowledge of weapons and hand-to-hand combat (bar fights were very common for him), use of farm tools, knowledge of planting and harvesting.
