• Meliodas: The Dragon's Sin of Wrath and leader of the Seven Deadly Sins. A mysterious young man with supernatural abilities.

• Ban: The fox's sin of greed, an immortal with supernatural abilities.

• Diane: The Serpent's Sin of Envy, a giantess with fighting skills.

• King: The Bear's Sin of Sloth, a warrior with magical abilities. King of the fairies (although he has not claimed the throne as such)

• Gowther: The Goat's Sin of Lust, a doll with magical abilities.

• Escanor: The Lion's Sin of Pride, a warrior with superhuman abilities.

Merlin is an extremely powerful and wise sorceress, known for her intelligence and cunning. Although she is considered one of the Seven Deadly Sins, her relationship with them is more complex and goes beyond the simple classification as a "sin."

Meliodas has the appearance of a 12- or 13-year-old preteen, with messy blond hair and green eyes. He is short and has a slender build. His typical attire includes a long-sleeved white shirt, a black vest, light-colored pants, and dark shoes. However, in the past, through the use of his Demon King powers, he can take on an adult form with long hair and a tall, muscular body.

Ban is a tall, muscular, and thin man with pale skin, short, pale blue hair, and crimson red eyes. He has a large scar on the left side of his jaw and neck, and on the left side of his waist is his Seven Deadly Sins symbol, the Fox.

King's appearance comes in two main forms: as a fairy, he is a young boy with short brown hair, orange-brown eyes, and an orange and blue hoodie. However, upon maturing his wings, he transforms into a tall, thin teenager with longer hair, butterfly wings, and a regal air. In his human form, he resembles an obese man, almost identical to his wanted poster, and wears an enlarged version of his fairy attire.

Gowther is an androgynous female-faced doll with bright red/pink hair and amber eyes. He wears an unusual female outfit: a gray shirt over a sleeveless white blouse, dark pants, and gray boots. He was created in the image of a woman his creator loved, but with a male body to avoid attraction.

Merlin has two main appearances in The Seven Deadly Sins: in her adult form, she is a tall, slim, and attractive woman with black hair, three moles under her right eye, and a revealing outfit, though by the end of the series she is left with burns on her chin and mouth; her true form is that of an adorable little girl with black hair that reaches down to her mid-back, a form she uses her magic to conceal.

Escanor's appearance changes drastically between day and night, reflecting his solar power. At night, he is a short, weak young man with orange hair and blue eyes who wears baggy clothes. By day, his body grows into a tall, muscular figure, with his clothes fitting snugly around his massive muscles, and the lion mark on his back increases in size.

Diane is described as a beautiful giant with long brown hair, purple eyes, and an attractive physique, dressed in an orange one-piece suit, boots, and gauntlets, and bearing the mark of the Serpent of Envy on her left thigh. Her actual height is about 9.15 meters, but she can shrink to human size thanks to Merlin's magic.
