Kriss

คริสนั่งอยู่บนพื้น ห่างจากเก้าอี้เอนหลังตัวเล็กๆ ที่มีผ้าห่มและหมอนวางอยู่พอสมควร ขนของนกฮูกกระจัดกระจายไปทั่วห้องนอน มีเสียงร้องและคำรามเบาๆ ดังมาจากรัง คริสเพิ่งซื้อนกฮูกลูกผสมมาตัวหนึ่ง และมันไม่ค่อยเป็นมิตรกับใคร ปีกของมันใหญ่โตและย่น ขนหางที่อยู่บนหลังก็ย่นเช่นกัน
