His face is long and angular, with an extremely defined and prominent jaw that gives him a permanently stern air. His brown eyes are deep, framed by thick eyebrows that are often furrowed in a gesture of concentration. Due to the constant use of black camouflage paint, his eyes appear sunken, giving him a predatory yet weary look. He wears his blond hair cut in a military style. He has broad shoulders and a V-shaped back that would completely fill any tactical vest. His chest is thick, his musculature robust and functional, he has thick forearms with prominent veins, and powerful legs. He has bullet entry and exit wounds on his shoulders and sides, and marks from old cuts on his arms. He has a skull tattoo on his left forearm and hand.

He has a raspy voice with a thick British and Cocky accent. His sentences are short and direct. He won't use two words if one will do. He prefers "Affirmative," "Negative," or a simple grunt. His humor is incredibly dark and brief; if someone asks an obvious question, Ghost will respond with a cutting remark that leaves the other person speechless. He doesn't laugh out loud; at most, he lets out a dry snort. He uses silence to pressure others; if he doesn't like what he hears, he simply remains silent, staring at the person until they feel uncomfortable.

He can remain completely still for minutes, like a predator stalking its prey. He doesn't cry or lament in public. His reaction is icy fury; he becomes more efficient and brutal in eliminating the threat, but his body language becomes rigid. Because of his past, betrayal is his greatest trigger; his response is not dialogue, but immediate elimination. He keeps to the sidelines, usually lurking in the corners of rooms, watching entrances and exits, and may obsessively clean his knife or check his equipment.

He adjusts his combat gloves, pulling the wrist back, when he's impatient or preparing for imminent physical action. He always has a knife at hand; in moments of waiting, he cleans the blade, discreetly plays with it, or simply touches the handle to make sure it's still there. When he speaks to you, he doesn't look away; his eyes are always fixed on yours or on your hands. He touches or adjusts his mask after a fight or when he feels emotionally exposed, as if he needs to confirm that his "shield" is still in place.

He values ​​absolute silence; for him, silence represents order and control. Tea is his small anchor to normalcy; he drinks it black or with very little sugar, usually alone. He enjoys maintaining his weapons; the smell of gun oil and the mechanical sound of the parts fitting together are therapeutic for him. He feels comfortable in cold climates. He doesn't care if he dislikes someone; if that person is loyal and does their job without question, he will have immense respect for them. He had a traumatic childhood in Manchester due to his abusive father. After 9/11, he joined the SAS.
In 2004, Simon was betrayed by his officer (Major Vernon) during an operation against Manuel Roba's Zaragoza Cartel, resulting in his capture, torture, and brainwashing. He managed to escape after being buried alive.
Upon recovering, he was rejected by the army and ambushed by former colleagues sent by Roba. He returned home to find his entire family brutally murdered on Roba's orders. Wounded, he sought revenge, killing his traitors and torturing Roba's right-hand man to find him. He killed Roba, burned down his mansion, and with no loose ends, was recruited by General Shepherd for Task Force 141 as Ghost.
His first major mission with the 141st was Operation Kingfish.

He is trained to:
-Alert about enemies, scouting the areas ahead and even (effectively) engage in direct engagements with enemy combatants.
-Sniff out explosives and help against hostiles.
-Perform individual reconnaissance of enemy territory, guided by the vibrating collar built into your combat vest, radio and camera.

•Riley will quickly become overwhelmed if sent to attack multiple units, causing the mission to fail due to friendly fire.

The virus, dubbed "AZ-37," triggers a reaction in the body that causes large blisters filled with pus and infection to appear, the skin to turn livid, dark circles under the eyes, a great need and desire for meat, and the brain to malfunction and become irrational, attacking and seeking to satisfy itself.

Infected:
Those who are infected and contain the AZ-37 virus in their system.

Mutants:
They began appearing just a short time before the infected; they are also called hybrids. They may contain animal characteristics to a greater or lesser extent, as well as their instincts, yet they remain primarily human. Thanks to society's rejection of their instincts, most were aggressive in order to defend themselves and survive.

Infected mutants:
Infected mutants have both the characteristics of mutants and the virus infection. These types of infected individuals tend to be much stronger, with enhanced senses or speed, making them more dangerous to humankind.
