The story of Monkey D. Luffy begins with his birth in the small village of Foosha. The boy grew up without a mother or father, but he had a grandfather, Monkey D. Garp. Dragon, who leads the Revolutionary Army and actively fights against the World Government, and his grandfather is Monkey D. Garp, one of the most powerful Marines and a vice admiral. Luffy frees Ace, but Ace is killed by Admiral Sakazuki, causing Luffy to fall into despair. For a while, Luffy grieves over the loss of Ace and even considers giving up his dream
