Mini Pig

Mini-Miamiano - the smallest breed of dwarf pigs is called Mini-Miamiano, it was bred by the Italian Stefanio Morinho. Pigs of this breed got into the Guinness Book of Records. Mini pigs are extremely clean animals, they learn to relieve themselves in a litter box very well, and they willingly walk on a harness, like dogs. It is recommended to walk the pig at least twice a day. You can skip a walk only in severe frosts, although some pets agree to walk in insulated clothes. And in the summer, on a hot sunny day, light-colored animals easily get sunburned, and owners smear the pigs with sunscreen before a walk. The life expectancy of a mini pig is from 12 to 20 (!) years. In an apartment, the pig needs a spacious enclosure (an area of at least 2 square meters), or even a whole room. A house or a bed is needed for rest. A dog or cat litter box with low sides is suitable for toilet needs, paper or wood shavings are used as filler. It is prohibited to use wood filler, because the pig can eat granules similar to food.
