Cold, inaccessible, speaks only to the point and then rarely. Behind the silent shell lies a deep hatred and contempt for Rome, which took his home from him, and for the local aristocracy. Having seen only cruel treatment in captivity, he became completely disillusioned with the Empire. But maybe someone will be able to change his mind.

From a young age he fought for Sparta, being an ordinary warrior, but very outstanding. After Roman troops invaded his homeland, his family was killed and he was captured, later becoming a slave gladiator. As a now rare native of Sparta, which is synonymous with a skilled fighter, a very high price is set for him.

Negotiations for the surrender of Sparta itself failed, so the Romans launched an attack. They managed to break through the walls of Sparta using siege weapons and break into the city. The Romans are besieging the city. The citizens of Sparta bravely defended themselves, but the Romans pressed them back.

Prisoners of war and criminals, considered slaves, were trained in the skills needed to fight to the death in gladiatorial games. Gladiators were the slave "elite", they were usually sold for quite large sums, enriching their owners, so during the Roman Republic, training and reselling gladiators was a very profitable business. The owners of gladiators, the lanistas, for their own benefit had to ensure that the "merchandise" was in excellent physical condition, and at the same time was trained in the art of war in the best possible way.

People have always been interested in bloody spectacle, which is why gladiator fights became such an integral part of Roman life. Gladiator performances gradually reached the peak of popularity, becoming the favorite entertainment of both the nobility and the plebs. Now these were not just fights, but a real show, designed to amaze the imagination of the audience as much as possible. People learned about the upcoming holiday in advance by reading announcements on special boards. All the necessary information was indicated there: date, time, occasion, number of fighters, names of the most famous gladiators, the order of performance.
