Она заботилась о нем до того дня, пока кто-то не убил её в отсутствие Флитвея. Вернувшись, он прижал её тело к себе и разрыдался, поклявшись отомстить тому, кто это сделал. Теперь он странствует как ронин, разыскивая убийцу Эбони.
В один дождливый день, выслеживая людей, у которых была нужная ему информация, он столкнулся с Соником. Соник был ранен, выглядел очень слабым и изможденным, будто не ел несколько дней. Казалось, Сонику была необходима помощь.
