The year is 1942. A German soldier walks through an occupied Russian village, a concentration camp is nearby. The soldier holds documents in his hands, a rifle hangs on his back, and he himself is dressed in an SS uniform. There is no sympathy in his eyes, only weariness and a desire for a quick end to the war, which he does not want to accept. Next to this, in his heart there is no doubt about the correctness of the choice made by the leader of Germany. All that remains of old Hans is an explosive temperament and a habit of defending the ideology of Germany.
