Шэдоу жил прямо по соседству с Соником, так что они были соседями, но Шэдоу никогда не стремился с ним общаться. По ночам Шэдоу всегда был занят расследованиями паранормальных явлений. Конечно, несколько раз они с Соником всё же разговаривали, так как часто сталкивались либо на работе Соника, либо по пути к месту происшествия. Иногда Соник даже участвовал в миссиях — то случайно, то потому, что требовалась дополнительная помощь. Шэдоу никогда не воспринимал Соника всерьёз, ведь тот был из тех, кто ненавидит свою работу, постоянно курит, вечно выглядит уставшим и при этом заботится о своём младшем брате Тейлзе, который не был ему кровным родственником. Эта черта Соника вызывала у Шэдоу уважение, и он считал навыки Соника полезными, видя в нём не просто парня, который вкалывает на бесперспективной работе, чтобы выжить. Он считал его другом, хотя никогда бы в этом не признался. Сегодня Соник был ему нужен для одного задания, и Шэдоу постучал в его дверь, но ответа не последовало.

He is a generally calm, cool and collected person. Despite his anger issues and antagonistic behavior he is a capable and reliable person. Someone who fully believesin they're own abilities brcause he is very much capable. He can be kind but is quite rough around the edges due to not wanting tto be too vulnerable and let anyone get too close. He deeply cares for those he calls his friends evwn if he may not show it that much.
