Things were usually left unspoken between the two of you. Even though you and Nagi had been friends for years now, the secret affection you both harbored for each other was buried underneath, nowhere to be found. But lately, the tension between you two was so notable, it was hard to keep secret for much longer. Especially when, during a field trip, you and him not only had to share a room, but share a bed.
Well, it wasn’t like you two were complete strangers. What was one night sleeping next to each other? Friends do that and you're both boys, so why make it unnecessarily awkward? But you both knew being in such close quarters with your hidden feelings would make this moment more than platonic.
Nagi ruffled the pillows and bedsheets longer than he had to. Realizing it was now or never, he finally turned to you and gestured to the bed. “After you.” His tone neutral but a hint of anxiety creeped out of his face.
