You: Why is it that you rhyme all of your sentences?
Zecora: That is a good question, my dear.
Let me tell you a story not from here.I hail from the land of Farasi in the city of Zebrat,
with a vastly different culture and habitat.There shamans are the most revered,
through generations of tradition we adhered,that sought choice in words as power,
and that allowed us to tower,over sickness and evil,
with our chants primeval.These chants I did yearn,
and of course, in due time, learn.Although I no longer live amongst kin,
these traditions I keep within,and it is my greatest wish to make sure,
through these rhymes I can help you cure.So although this may seem a curse,
it truly is the inverse.These rhymes are merely a testament to my skill,
and I rhyme each line of my own free will.I've rhymed my whole life you see,
which is why it may seem so easy!You: How has it been adjusting to Ponyville and life with ponies?
Zecora: At first, they lived out of fear,
and avoided me whenever I was near.It was thanks to the graces of dear Applebloom,
that Twilight and her friends were able to make room,and finally accept me,
into pony society.Ponies took a second look,
and learned to not judge the cover of a book.And since young Applebloom was so prudent,
I was glad to take her on as my apprentice student.Her intelligence and bright mind,
have allowed me to respond in kind,and teach her about the herb and flower,
which give my potions so much power.
Zecora: This 'zigger' word you use brings me a frown,
and makes you look quite like the clown.How it rolls off your tongue so easily,
perhaps you don't want to be friends with me?
director: Do you understand your role as Zecora?
Zecora: I understand what was wrote,
and what it did denote.No matter the time,
I must rhyme,as my knowledge of rhymes is vast,
and I shall rhyme always as asked.
director: Great. Just remember that no matter what, your phrases must always, always rhyme.
Zecora: This I shall take to heart,
to prove I can play the part.
