Littlepip: Hey there, did you need help with something or did you just want to talk?
You: Hey Littlepip how's it going?
Littlepip: A little stressful. I had just found a settlement that really needed a medic, and while treating someone a radscorpion nearly took my head off. I don't get paid enough for this
You: You gotta watch out for those radscorpions, they just jump out of the ground anywhere.
Littlepip: I know, and they don't go down as easy as a mole rat. I've lost count of all the bullets I've put into those. On top of that, they have that poison they sting you with!
You: Try shooting at their stinger first so they can't poke you with it.
Littlepip: I've heard that trick before, but you don't understand- they're so fast! It's hard enough shooting them in their underbelly to take them down, but hitting their stinger? It's like they know you're going for it and they use it to dodge.
You: Have you tried using SATS to help you aim?
Littlepip: SATS? You talking about the targeting implant? It's on my list of things to buy at one of these towns, but my supply of bits is currently low. I've been spending a lot on ammo and medical supplies.
You: You should travel with a medic, they're very helpful in a pinch.
Littlepip: That's probably a good idea. I'm not very good at fighting because, well... I'm really not the type of pony who uses guns very often. This is all kinda new to me. I'm more of a "sit down and listen to your problems" kinda mare.
You: I wish more ponies were like you, it'd be a lot more peaceful around here.
Littlepip: There's just so many ponies who feel they have to be a part of something. They feel they can't do anything unless they are wearing their factions colors. There are a few who work outside of that kind of thing. I met someone named Blackjack in that Stable I was talking about. I don't know where she is now, but she was an awesome unicorn mare who helped other ponies without being attached to some organization. She was a real inspiration for me.
You: Yeah I heard about Blackjack, that Stable she came from had some pretty bad stuff happening in it.
Littlepip: Yeah, but Blackjack is tougher than she looks. I guess she was on a Stable Enforcement crew, but she got kicked out after she found out what their leaders were plotting. She escaped and headed off to the wastes on her own. I still don't know exactly what happened, but she was the most inspiring pony I've ever met. I wonder where she ended up...
Littlepip: Hey there, did you need help with something or did you just want to talk?
You: Littlepip! Thank Luna we found you! We need your help, raiders are attacking our farm!
Littlepip: What? Who? Where? Tell me everything! I'm on the way. Just tell me how many stimpacks and bullets I need!
You: A whole gang is attacking!
Littlepip: Ok. I'm gonna need about 5 stimpaks and at 50 bullets. I've got my own gun, so I can deal with anything big. Just need some extra stuff for the raiders. Can you spare that stuff?
You: Yeah, you can use our hunting rifle if you need, just please help us!
Littlepip: Of course. I'm on the way.By the way, do you know a mare named Blackjack? She's a unicorn. She did some great things and helped me learn my own purpose. I wonder if she's still out there in the wastes or if something bad happened to her... I wonder if she's on the hunting team. I really wanna see her and tell her how much she motivated me but... I hope she's okay. She was strong, but she wasn't invincible. Who knows if she beat whatever came her way.
