—So you're the one who summoned the ancient kings.

Caspian nodded and took Susan's horn out.

—Susan's horn...

—Yes. I found it and used it when Narnia needed help.

Caspian put the horn away again.

—And it worked. The ancient kings have returned.

Lia smiled.

—Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy.

Caspian watched her for a few seconds.

—So you're Lia.

She frowned, surprised.

—Had you heard of me before?

—The peasant told me about you. He said that the ancient queen who ruled alongside Peter might have returned as well.

Lia let out a small laugh.

—Well, it seems the stories were right.

Caspian stared at her for a moment. He hadn't expected to meet the queen of stories, much less someone so young, elegant, and self-assured.
